Did the court order the offender to pay money back to you?

Is there a possibility you didn’t collect part or all of those funds?

If you answered yes to the above questions, you should take a moment and search our database below!

When an offender is sentenced in court, part of their sentence may include paying restitution (money) back to the victim of the crime. When money is unclaimed by a victim or business for more than two years, it is transferred to the Crime Victims Emergency Fund. At that time, the Crime Victims Compensation’s Unclaimed Restitution Program makes attempts to locate and contact the victim or business.

If you believe you may have money that is owed to you as a result of a crime against you or your business, simply provide your legal name or the name of your business (at the time of the crime), and search our database.
